SEO Practical insights
Check AI generated schema against visible content
Validate structured data for factual accuracy, supported types and consistency with the page instead of assuming syntactically valid markup earns rich results.
Structured data can be valid JSON and still be misleading. An AI generator may invent a rating, reviewer or product property to complete a template. Review the meaning of every field against the visible page before checking syntax.
Choose the appropriate type
Identify what the page actually contains and which supported search feature is relevant. A practical article is not automatically a product review, and an FAQ section does not guarantee FAQ rich-result eligibility. Avoid adding types simply because they sound useful for visibility.
Trace every factual property
Check names, dates, authors, images and claims against maintained sources. Remove invented credentials and aggregate ratings without a legitimate basis. Ensure that marked-up information is consistent with what readers can access. Google’s structured-data policies require truthful representation of the page. [1]
Inspect the whole output
WordPress may already generate a schema graph through an SEO plugin. Check for duplicate or conflicting objects before inserting another block. Validate the final public page using the relevant tools, then inspect errors and warnings in context. A clean syntax result does not certify factual accuracy or guarantee search presentation.
Maintain schema with the article
When a title, image or substantive date changes, update the corresponding fields through the existing publishing system. Recheck representative pages after plugin changes. The purpose of markup is to describe the content clearly. It should not contain a more impressive version of the article than the one a visitor actually reads.
