How to interpret listings, comparisons and review evidence.

    Version 1.0 · Updated 8 October 2026

A listing is not a universal ranking

The AI platform directory is a curated discovery resource. Categories, filters and the displayed sort order determine what you see; inclusion is not a guarantee of quality, security, suitability or market leadership. Unless a page explains a scoring method, its order must not be interpreted as a tested “best to worst” ranking.

    Explain comparisons

A comparative score should identify the criteria, weighting if used, tested version, date, sample and evidence. Distinguish hands-on testing from vendor descriptions, reported user experience and editorial opinion. A vendor’s published rating is not our own independently verified score. Prices and feature availability can change.

    Authentic review evidence

Do not fabricate reviews, generate fictional customer experiences or present a staff member as an independent customer. Incentives and relationships must be disclosed. Do not call reviews “verified purchases” unless a proportionate verification process exists and is explained. Do not suppress genuine negative feedback simply because a vendor objects or pays.

    Commercial placements and corrections

Sponsored positions must be separately labelled and must not silently influence an independent score. Affiliate incentives are explained in Affiliate disclosure. Vendors and readers can request factual corrections with supporting evidence through Corrections; a correction request does not buy editorial control.
