Scale agency AI methods across different clients
Standardize agency AI evaluation and learning while respecting each client’s data, permissions and approval needs, with clear ownership for shared methods.
An agency can reuse a sound method across clients without treating their data, offers and constraints as interchangeable. The strategic advantage is a repeatable way to learn and deliver quality. Standardization should make differences visible, rather than hiding them inside one agency-wide prompt or permission setting.
Choose what can be shared
Common elements may include brief structure, evaluation criteria, failure categories and review training. Share generic lessons about the process where permitted. Keep client-specific evidence, campaign material and commercial terms within the appropriate boundary. A useful method should work with a client’s approved sources rather than depend on content borrowed from another account.
Record each client’s operating conditions
For every engagement, identify authorized data, permitted actions, required approvals and the person who can resolve exceptions. Include contractual and sector-specific requirements through qualified review. Two clients using the same tool may still need different workflows. Do not infer permission from an agency’s technical ability to access a connected system.
Support separation with actual controls
Claude’s enterprise documentation describes administrative and connector controls, illustrating available mechanisms rather than guaranteeing a particular agency setup. [1] Have the responsible technical team verify access boundaries and logging in the chosen environment. Test that a task for one client cannot retrieve another client’s material. A written instruction alone is not adequate evidence of separation.
Review the portfolio without erasing context
Compare accepted quality, rework and delivery effort using consistent definitions, then explain differences in task difficulty and approval requirements. Share improvements to the common method while retaining client-specific decisions. Name an owner for version changes and communicate material changes to affected teams. This lets the agency scale its capability while preserving the trust that makes each client relationship commercially viable.
